We're going to Northern Europe!
Hello Krown Bakery Friends!
We have learned so much about Nordic baking over the past few years, and we continue to do so every day. However, we know that there is so much more knowledge of Nordic food and culture that we have yet to learn and experience.
With that in mind, we are excited to share with you that we will be travelling to Northern Europe in just a few weeks’ time! We’ll be making stops through the Nordic capital cities, beginning in Helsinki, Finland, then to Stockholm, Sweden, then off to Copenhagen, Denmark, before arriving in our last destination: Oslo, Norway. From this journey, we hope to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of Nordic cultures and cuisines. We wish to take what we learn there and bring it home to share with everyone!
While we are away, the bakery will continue to be open with slightly modified hours and offerings. Starting June 20th. We will be open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 3:30pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and we will be closed on Sundays and Mondays. Please note that these hours are subject to change if needed. We will also be closed from July 4th to July 8th to give our employees well-deserved time off for the holiday weekend. As for menu changes, we will be unable to fulfill any custom cake orders, save for Budapest logs. We will also not be serving brunch on Saturdays during this time, and we will not be serving any lunch special on 6/28. While online ordering is disabled for this period, you can still place your order for our regular menu items over the phone by calling 763-427-0506.
We’d like to ask for your patience with the slightly reduced service and offerings during this time period. Our diligent staff will be hard at work to continue offering delicious scratch-made goodies and the service you’ve come to expect walking through our doors. We’re leaving you in very good hands, our staff is awesome!
If you wish to keep tabs on our travels, we’ll be posting these blog entries at the end of each day outlining our experiences for that day. We’ll also share these posts out to our social media accounts, so if you follow us, you should see the latest!
Ultimately, our ability to take such a grand adventure on is due to our fantastic staff and wonderful customers. We wish to offer a warm “Thank You” to everyone who works with us and those who trust us to brighten their days with delicious Nordic pastries, foods, and breads. Without all of you, this is not a trip we could have dreamed of making.
